Sharpening the programme to win a bid

Better Plans

A client is preparing a bid with multiple workstreams and tight timescales. The draft programme exists, but it’s hard to follow, and not everyone trusts it. Commercial, design and delivery teams are working from different assumptions, and some good ideas aren’t making it into the plan. NEC4 requirements aren’t visible in the programme, nor are environmental constraints.

We work with the team to build a tender programme they can actually use — one that supports pricing, resource decisions and the delivery story. Through collaborative planning sessions, we surface time-saving ideas that improve competitiveness, challenge sequencing and bring NEC and Building Safety requirements into the conversation early.

We also help translate the programme and methodology into clear, simple language that makes sense to non-experts — so what’s being proposed is understood, not just technically correct. We support that with a series of 3D images so that even non-experts can follow what’s intended and the value our client brings.

By the time the bid is submitted, the team is working from one shared programme, with greater confidence in both the commitments being made and the story being told.
